Our client Mad Ideas has again outclassed some of New Zealand’s leading advertising agencies.
After taking home Gold for the “Best Government/Public Sector Campaign” in the NZ Marketing Association awards earlier this year, the Kerikeri based company has recently won the TVNZ Award for “Marketing Leadership”.
The award, given for the best performance of a campaign, was one of the most hotly contested categories with 15 finalists. The judges agreed that the Let’s Talk Crap! Campaign showed “Marketing Leadership in an otherwise barren environment”. They commented that “it was a bold concept … but the return on investment was evident (unlike a lot of entries) and it had a big community impact”.
Company Director, Debbie Ryder, was thrilled to be amongst a select handful of companies to receive multiple nominations and was also a finalist in the “Best Government Sector” and “Marketing Innovation” awards.
She says, “I went along thinking it would be nice to take out all three awards but after I saw the calibre of the other finalists, I was pretty amazed to win anything. And I was pretty much the only winner that no one had ever heard of. Laughing she says, “But if they didn’t know who Mad Ideas was before the awards, they do now. We were probably the most excited and noisiest winners of the night!”. www.madideas.co.nz
