Little Lot

David Hillier started out working in an architectural visualisation firm before joining his brother Steve to create the enterprise which has become Little Lot.

David and Steve are extremely passionate about their mission that invites people to “donate” their computer desktop or smartphone home screen as advertising space, with funds given to a nominated charity.

The successful enterprise has already won David Hillier the Community Impact award for New Zealand in the Talent Unleashed global entrepreneurship competition.  David, in a recent interview with NZ Business magazine, says that billions of dollars a year are spent on digital advertising.  Charities are constantly struggling to adjust to an ever-changing tech world and Little Lot is simply connecting the dots to create deeper engagement between users and their charities.

Little Lot is trying to create a giant worldwide community using technology to raise funds for good by people downloading and using the app, and eventually sharing the app to their networks.  David and Steve have been completely humbled by how many brands have got behind them because they believe in what they are doing.
